Gil's brave header against Vancouver is smidge more than seven percentage points ahead of Mapp's long-distance blast in the polls, which sets the stage for a lively home stretch before voting closes a minute before midnight on the West Coast.
Houston's Scottish winger Andrew Driver is not far behind at 20 percent of the vote for his game-winner against the Galaxy, while C.J. Sapong and Danny Cruz bring up the back of the pack for their fine efforts over the weekend.
