2014 AT&T Goal of the Week (Week 8)
For the second straight week, it looks like we're in for a photo finish in the AT&T Goal of the Week race.
As of Thursday morning, Week 8 golazos from Seattle sniper Obafemi Martins (30.41 percent) and Real Salt Lake's Álvaro Saborío (29.64 percent) are running neck and neck, while Whitecaps newcomer Sebastián Fernández is just a half-step behind with 26.5 percent of the vote.
Further back, Bradley Wright-Phillips' fourth strike of his productive week sits in fourth place with 7.08 percent, followed by the well-taken finish by FC Dallas' Mauro Díaz, which has earned 6.37 percent of ballots cast to date.
Your vote could well be the one that decides this week's contest. Cast your ballot for your favorite goal before voting ends!
The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
