AT&T Goal of the Week: Week 11
Obafemi Martins floored observers across the league with his masterful, instinctive chip over Jon Busch last Saturday, and since then his finish has done much the same to the rest of the Week 11 AT&T MLS Goal of the Week field.
Seattle's Nigerian marksman has garnered more than 78 percent of GOTW votes cast as of Thursday morning, while none of the other four contenders have broken double figures.
Toronto FC star Jermain Defoe's blast sits in a very distant second place with 8.79 percent, followed by Federico Higuaín at 6.36 percent, Vincent Nogueira at 3.3 percent and Chris Tierney with 3.18 percent.
This race looks just about settled, but you've still got time to register your opinion. Cast your ballot for your favorite goal before voting ends! The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.
Voting runs until 11:59 pm PT on Thursdays. For complete coverage of the AT&T MLS Goal of the Week — including an archive of all of this season's nominees and winners — click here.
