As COVID-19 cases continue to spike worldwide, Canada Soccer has canceled all national team activity during the November international windows for their men's and women's national teams.
Neither the men's team nor the women's team had matches on the schedule, but both had seen recent plans postponed or canceled. World Cup qualifying for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar was originally scheduled to begin this fall, but Concacaf postponed the start of qualifying until March of next year. The women's national team was originally scheduled for a training camp in England this month, but canceled it weeks before its scheduled start.
Neither team has played since the winter, the women's team more recently than the men. The women's team played Brazil in March, while the men's team last played in a 1-0 loss to Iceland in January.
