– The MLS Disciplinary Committee has found the Portland Timbers and Sporting Kansas City in violation of the mass confrontation policy in the 35th minute of their game on Sept. 29. Portland has violated the mass confrontation policy for a fourth time this season, and the organization and head coach Giovanni Savarese have been issued undisclosed fines. Kansas City has violated the mass confrontation policy for a second time this season, and the organization and head coach Peter Vermes have been issued undisclosed fines (
