NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 14, 2026) – Nashville Soccer Club is partnering with Metro Parks Nashville to bring MLS GO, Major League Soccer’s accessible recreational youth soccer initiative, to the greater Nashville area. The seven-week program kicked off on Saturday, Sept. 12 and will provide affordable, high-quality soccer instruction through local Metro Recreation Centers to 250 youth participants ages 4-11.
“Nashville SC is proud to continue expanding access to soccer throughout Middle Tennessee by partnering with Metro Parks Nashville for MLS GO,” said Nashville SC Head of Community Engagement Brandon Hill. “Creating opportunities for local youth to participate in the sport regardless of experience level or background is central to our mission and our commitment to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and play.”
MLS GO is open to everyone from future pros to first-time players. By offering a structured, community-based program with connections to a developmental pathway, the initiative aims to break down barriers and make soccer accessible to all.
For a $35 registration fee, participants are placed on teams based on their local Metro Recreation Centers, receive MLS club-themed uniforms and compete in Under-6, Under-8 and Under-11 age groups. Each team will participate in at least six matches and practice a minimum of once per week, providing players with opportunities to develop their skills and build connections with other youth in their communities.
“With the ongoing popularity of soccer, this partnership creates an exciting opportunity to introduce more Nashville children to a sport that promotes teamwork, confidence, discipline and healthy activity,” said Metro Parks’ Assistant Director of the Community Recreation Division Stevon Neloms. “At Metro Parks we believe every child should have access to opportunities that encourage them to be active, learn new skills and connect with their community. Meaningful partnerships like this allow us to stretch our resources, make programs more affordable and reach more families. We’re proud to help open the door for more young people to discover the joy of soccer and everything the game can teach them.”
Nashville SC’s 2026 MLS GO programming will conclude with an end-of-season tournament featuring the top four teams from each age group at the Metro Soccer Complex (1266 Donelson Pike) on Saturday, Oct. 31 at 9 a.m. CT.
