TRANSFER TRACKER:Report
Apparently, Chicago Fire FC aren't done mining Europe for attacking talent.
According to Serbian sports daily Sportski žurnal, the Fire have had an offer accepted for attacking Luka Stojanovic, currently the top scorer for FK Cukaricki with nine goals for the fourth-place team in Serbia's top flight.
The 26-year-old is a product of the storied youth setup at Sporting CP and made his pro debut for the club's reserve team in Portugal's second division.
He also had stops in Cyprus and Belgium before returning to his home country, where he scored a career best 11 goals last campaign and would be on pace to surpass that total if he doesn't make an MLS move.
Stojanovic would appear to be a fighting for playing time with Djordje Mihailovic and Alvaro Medran in the attacking part of midfield.
