TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Report
Nashville SC are set to make another significant addition to their MLS roster ahead of their 2020 expansion debut, according to ESPN FC.
The outlet reported on Thursday that Costa Rican winger Randall Leal will be Nashville's next signing, in a deal large enough to qualify for either Young Designated Player status or be paid down via Targeted Allocation Money.
Leal, 22, is an attack-minded player who played in three of Costa Rica's matches at the Gold Cup earlier this summer and has made 11 total appearances for Los Ticos to date. He's typically deployed on the left flank.
He spent a few seasons in Europe with Belgian side KV Mechelen before returning home to join Deportivo Saprissa a year ago, and has already bagged two goals and two assists in his first seven games of their new domestic season, which kicked off in July.
