Kekuta Manneh could be headed to Liga MX club Pachuca, according to a report out of Mexico on Thursday night.
Manneh, 22, is out of contract after spending a large portion of last year with Columbus Crew SC. The electric winger went on trial to 2. Bundesliga club Union Berlin earlier this offseason and attended Pachuca’s Copa MX final loss to Monterrey on Thursday night. Reporter Alfonso Rivera tweeted that he was there to sign for the club.
Crew SC extended an offer to Manneh following the end of the season. The attacker joined Columbus last March in a trade with Vancouver, where he spent the first four years of his career. He has 26 goals and 15 assists in 120 career regular-season appearances and recorded four goals and three assists in 22 appearances last season.
