Coming from behind is this year's M.O. for Chris Wondolowski and the San Jose Earthquakes.
The AT&T Goal of the Week race is no different. Wondo used a massive surge in text voting on Thursday to overtake both D.C. United's Chris Pontius and LA Galaxy superstar David Beckham in the fan voting for best goal of Week 17.
The truth is that Wondolowski's goal had it all. It came on a rare, sublime flick of the heel and it proved the game-winner in a thrilling 4-3 rivalry match against the LA Galaxy. It also featured a memorable celebration, which saw Wondolowski high-five members of the US Armed Forces stationed behind the goal.
Two other goals from the same match finished second and fifth in the voting with Beckham's majestic free kick and the sensational volley from San Jose defender Víctor Bernárdez also receiving acclaim.
