Career Summary

The center back joined MNUFC in the middle of the 2020 season after four seasons with Amiens of the French Ligue 2. Dibassy made an immediate impact upon arriving in Minnesota, becoming a key component of a backline that propelled the Loons to its first Western Conference Final appearance in the 2020 MLS Cup Playoffs. In his two and half seasons with MNUFC, Dibassy has four goals, including two in the 2020 MLS Cup Playoff run. In 2022, Dibassy started 26 games, either at center back or at left back until he suffered a ruptured quadriceps tendon in his right leg in a match against the Houston Dynamo in late August and missed the remainder of the 2022 season. 

The defender began his career at Olympique Noisy-le-Sec before joining Bergerac in 2010. In his career, Dibassy has played with Stade Montois, CS Sedan, and Les Licornes where he made more than 130 appearances, tallying nine goals. 

INTERNATIONAL: Born in Paris, France, Dibassy is of Malian descent and represents the Mali National Team. He has earned four caps with the national team since making his debut in 2017 in a World Cup Qualifier against Morocco.
