Brendan Hines-Ike joined Austin FC as a free agent signing on February 14, 2024. During his first two-and-a-half seasons in Verde & Black, he made 70 MLS appearances for the Club (67 starts). Hines-Ike has tallied three goals and three assists in an Austin shirt, including a 93rd minute winner in a 3-2 home victory over Colorado Rapids in 2024.
Hines-Ike is originally from Denver, Colorado. He played three seasons of collegiate soccer with Creighton University, and one for the University of South Florida. Hines-Ike then began his professional career in the Swedish Allsvenskan with Örebro SK, where he recorded four goals and three assists in 70 appearances from 2016 to 2018.
He then transferred to KV Kortrijk of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, playing 53 times for Kortrijk between 2018 and 2021. Prior to the start of the 2021 season, Hines-Ike joined D.C. United on loan, and signed permanently with the MLS club on January 4, 2022. He appeared 49 times across all competitions during three years in D.C.
